Wimbledon Eton Mess

If you are looking for a lightning-fast, show-stopping treat to enjoy while watching the match, this quick Eton Mess inspired sundae is the ultimate winner. It brings together the spirit of the tournament with a true taste of our beautiful Devonshire countryside.

Ingredients (Per Serving):

  • 2 scoops of Langage Farm Strawberries & Clotted Cream luxury dairy ice cream

  • 1 scoop of Langage Farm Clotted Cream Vanilla luxury dairy ice cream

  • A handful of fresh, juicy local strawberries (hulled and chopped)

  • 2 ready-made meringue nests

  • Optional: A classic dollop of our famous Langage Farm Devonshire Clotted Cream to top it off!

Method:

  1. The Berry Base: Take a glass or a serving bowl and drop in half of your chopped local strawberries.

  2. The Crunch: Roughly crush one meringue nest with your hands and scatter the pieces directly over the strawberries.

  3. The Main Event: Add two generous scoops of our Strawberries & Clotted Cream ice cream, followed by a scoop of Clotted Cream Vanilla.   

  4. The Layering: Top with the remaining crushed meringue and the rest of the fresh strawberries.

  5. The Devon Finishing Touch: If you want to follow the golden rule of Devonshire desserts, finish with a luxurious spoonful of our traditional clotted cream right on top. As we always say, it is “A little Heaven from Devon – udderly delicious.”
