LANGAGE FARM CELEBRATES NEW GOLD WINS AT THE 2024 TASTE OF THE WEST AWARDS

Devon-based Langage Farm is thrilled to announce its latest success, having won four new Gold Awards at this year’s Taste of the West Product Awards. This continues their tradition of excellence, adding to their impressive collection of awards over the years.

The Taste of the West Awards programme has been promoting and supporting the South West food and drink industry for over 30 years. It has grown to become the most prestigious food and drink awards programme in the South West.

Each and every year, Taste of the West works with around 350 food and drink producers who enter their South West food and drink products into the awards programme.

Langage Farm received Gold Awards for the following products:

  • Rum & Raisin Ice Cream
  • Blackcurrant & Cream Ice Cream
  • Traditional Devonshire Clotted Cream
  • Aldi Mango & Passionfruit Small Glass Layered Yogurt

Langage Farm has remained a working farmstead for over 900 years in the rolling Devonshire countryside. In 1980, the Harvey family started producing world-famous clotted cream from their Jersey and Guernsey cows for a nearby shop. Since then, Langage Farm has become synonymous with delicious Devon products.

Langage Farm  are dedicated to producing high-quality, award-winning dairy products. Our family-run farm is home to our cherished Jersey and Guernsey cows, and we take great pride in our sustainable practices, operating a carbon-neutral dairy farm with a strong focus on eco-friendly initiatives.

“We’ve been crafting artisan dairy products here in Devon for over four decades. These awards are a testament to the dedication and passion of our team,” said Steve Davies of Langage Farm. “It’s incredibly gratifying to see our products recognised at such a high level.”

Langage Farm is renowned for both its traditional favourites and innovative new flavours, consistently winning awards each year. Our commitment to quality is evident in everything we produce, from luxury yogurts and flavoured creams for national supermarkets to a diverse range of over 40 ice creams and refreshing sorbets.

“The competition is always fierce, with entries needing to excel in flavour, texture, and overall taste,” Davies continued. “Winning multiple Gold Awards across various categories truly showcases the high standards we maintain at Langage Farm. It’s a tremendous achievement for everyone involved.”

Steve added, “Congratulations to all the winners and participants. It’s fantastic to see local producers in the West being celebrated for their outstanding products.”
