Italian Affogato

Made with rich vanilla ice cream and espresso coffee, dark chocolate & clotted cream. You could experiment with different flavour ice cream such as chocolate or even coffee Why not try different toppings too from nuts to grated chocolate. Tailor it your way!

Ingredients

  • 200ml made-up hot strong espresso coffee – or filter coffee
  • 4 scoops Langage Farm Luxury vanilla ice cream
  • Langage Farm Clotted Cream
  • Plain chocolate
  • Any toppings of your choice -ie nuts and grated chocolate.

Method

  1. Make the espresso coffee, which will be enough for 4 little after-dinner coffee cups
  2. Put the Langage ice cream into 4 dessert glasses or small bowls. Drown (the literal meaning of affogato) each ice cream serving with coffee
  3. Top with a tablespoon of Langage Farm Clotted Cream
  4. For an added treat, melt chocolate and pour over
  5. Finish with grated chocolate or toppings of your choice
  6. Enjoy warm and melting
