It’s National BBQ Week! And while the burgers and bangers are sorted, we want to talk about the best bit β dessert. π§‘
Five minutes on the grill, a generous dollop of Langage Farm Devonshire Clotted Cream, a drizzle of local honey, and you have a pudding that will have everyone asking for seconds. Simple, stunning, and very Devon. βοΈ
Serves: 4 | Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 6β8 mins | Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients
4 ripe peaches, halved and stoned
1 tub of Langage Farm Devonshire Clotted Cream
4 tablespoons of runny local honey
A small knob of butter, melted
A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Fresh mint leaves, to garnish (optional)
Method
1. Fire up the BBQ
Get the grates nice and hot β medium-to-high heat is perfect for beautiful caramelised char lines.
2. Prep your peaches
Brush the cut side of each peach half with melted butter and a pinch of cinnamon if using.
3. Grill
Place cut-side down and leave for 3β4 minutes until golden char marks appear and the peach releases easily. Flip and grill for a further 2β3 minutes.
4. Drizzle
Arrange on a board cut-side up and drizzle generously with honey while still warm. π―
5. The Langage Farm moment
Spoon a generous dollop of Devonshire Clotted Cream into the centre of each peach. The warmth will just soften the edges. Absolutely divine. Garnish with mint and serve immediately.
