Last week, the British Embassy Israel hosted the “Best of British” Afternoon Tea Party featuring Langage Farm Dairy!
The special event held in the British Embassy garden was held to promote the best UK food and drink products to key Israeli buyers and food-industry professionals.
The British Embassy showcased 37 UK companies’ products all flown in from the UK, including cheese, crisps, biscuits, crackers, our Langage Farm multi award winning clotted cream, jams, whiskey, beer and tea.
“We know that food is an important part of any culture, and we’re thrilled to share a big part of the UK’s culture through food with Israeli audience,” said the British Embassy.
“We work closely with the Food and Drink Division at the Israeli Chamber of Commerce to initiate events like this to support UK food and drink companies to enter the Israeli market. UK food and drink products have a huge potential in Israel in terms of quality, innovation and meeting the demands of Israeli consumers for gluten free, vegan and healthy alternatives. The food and drink regulatory reforms introduced in 2023 by the Israeli Government mean that more UK food and drink products can launch in Israel and at competitive prices for the Israeli consumer.”
