Creamy Mushroom and Spinach Pasta

A quick and easy dish with earthy mushrooms, fresh spinach, and the rich, velvety texture of Langage Farm double cream….tasty and quick!

Ingredients:

200g pasta (penne or tagliatelle work well)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
200g mushrooms, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
100g fresh spinach leaves
120ml Langage Farm double cream
Salt and pepper, to taste
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)


Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the mushrooms and garlic, cooking until the mushrooms are golden and fragrant.
  4. Stir in the spinach until it just wilts, then pour in the Langage Farm double cream. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the pan, tossing to coat evenly in the creamy sauce.
  6. Serve with a sprinkle of Parmesan, if desired.
