We are thrilled to announce that this year’s Cream Teas for Cancer event, in support of FORCE Cancer Charity, was a resounding success! On Thursday, 11th July 2024, our community came together once again to enjoy a delicious Devonshire cream tea while raising vital funds for an important cause. Langage Farm was incredibly proud to support this event, and we’re delighted to share the fantastic results.
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity and enthusiasm of everyone involved, they hand-packed and delivered 1,300 cream teas, raising an outstanding £14,336 for FORCE Cancer Charity. Each cream tea, lovingly prepared by FORCE’s dedicated team of volunteers, included two freshly baked scones, our signature Devon clotted cream, strawberry jam, and a tea bag—providing a true taste of Devon to participants across the county. This year, they also introduced the option to add a bottle of locally sourced Four Elms Devonshire Apple Juice, which proved to be a popular addition to their traditional offering.
What an amazing success for FORCE Cancer Charity where they all worked hard; from the volunteers who packed and delivered the cream teas to the individuals, families, and workplaces who placed their orders. Your contributions made a real difference, helping FORCE Cancer Charity continue its essential work supporting people affected by cancer here in Devon.
