Langage Farm is thrilled to announce the winner of our special Father’s Day competition, which brought excitement to Plymouth Argyle fans across the region.
The competition offered the chance to win a piece of Argyle history—a vintage signed football from the memorable Argyle vs. Preston North End match on 19th April 2008 during the Championship season. This unique prize, signed by some of the club’s legendary players, was the perfect Father’s Day gift for any football enthusiast.
Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming the lucky winner’s wife, Lynn Knuckey, to Langage Farm, where she collected the prize on behalf of her husband, Simon. Lynn made the journey all the way from Redruth, and to make the moment even more special, we decided to surprise Simon with an extra treat—a signed Plymouth Argyle shirt! This unexpected bonus was our way of showing appreciation for their support and love for the Greens.
The signed match ball, featuring autographs from notable players such as Scottish International Paul Gallagher, Welsh International Carl Fletcher, and Argyle’s legendary French goalkeeper Romain Larrieu, is now proudly in Simon’s possession. We couldn’t be happier to see this piece of Argyle memorabilia go to a true fan.
We’d like to thank everyone who participated by following, liking, and sharing the competition post, helping us spread the word about this fun and unique giveaway.
Congratulations again to Simon and Lynn! We hope the signed football and shirt bring a little extra joy to your home.
