Pancakes & Yogurt

Continuing our month of breakfast ideas, elevate your breakfast routine with these Yogurt-Topped (delicious) Pancakes. This recipe takes classic pancakes and adds a nutritious twist by using Langage Farm Cherry Yogurt as a topping. With fresh fruit and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup, these pancakes are not only a delightful treat but also a healthier alternative to traditional breakfast options.

Ingredients:

  • For the Pancakes:

    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 2 tablespoons sugar
    • 1 tablespoon baking powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
    • 1 egg
    • 2 tablespoons melted butter or oil
  • For the Topping:

    • 1 cup Langage Farm Cherry Yogurt
    • Fresh berries or sliced fruit
    • A drizzle of honey or maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Pancake Batter: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, and melted butter. Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed (a few lumps are fine).
  2. Cook Pancakes: Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  3. Add Toppings: Stack pancakes on a plate and top with Langage Farm Vanilla Yogurt, fresh berries or sliced fruit, and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
  4. Serve: Enjoy these delicious, yogurt-topped pancakes for a special breakfast treat.

Nutritional Tip: Using Langage Farm Cherry Yogurt as a topping instead of syrup or butter adds a creamy texture and a boost of protein and probiotics, making your pancakes a healthier choice.
