Who says clotted cream is just for scones? This National Latte Day, we are taking the classic coffee break to a whole new level of luxury. By incorporating our award-winning Devonshire Clotted Cream, made from the rich milk of our Jersey and Guernsey cows, you can create a latte that is “udderly” silkier and more indulgent than anything you’ll find on the high street.
Ingredients
1 generous tablespoon of Langage Farm Devonshire Clotted Cream
1 double shot of high-quality espresso (or 60ml of very strong brewed coffee)
200ml whole milk
A dusting of cocoa powder or a drizzle of honey (optional)
Method
Prepare the Base: Brew your double espresso and pour it into your favourite large mug.
The Secret Ingredient: While the coffee is piping hot, whisk in the Langage Farm clotted cream until it has completely melted and created a golden, velvety crema.
Froth the Milk: Gently heat your milk until steaming and froth it using a whisk or milk frother until you have a thick, creamy foam.
Combine: Pour the frothed milk over your coffee and cream mixture.
The Finishing Touch: Top with a little extra dollop of cream if you’re feeling extra indulgent, and a dusting of cocoa.
