A much-loved Devon tradition is back this month as FORCE Cancer Charity launches its popular Cream Teas for Cancer fundraiser. Taking place on Thursday 18th September 2025, the event gives people across the Exeter area the chance to enjoy a classic afternoon treat while helping to raise vital funds for local people affected by cancer.
This year, there’s no minimum order, so whether you’re treating yourself to a single box or organising a delivery for the whole office, Cream Teas for Cancer has you covered!
Each cream tea costs just £6 and includes locally sourced, freshly baked scones, sweet jam, and our award winning, rich Langage Farm clotted cream. FORCE’s team of incredible volunteers will hand-pack each order with care and deliver them directly to homes, workplaces, schools, and community groups on Thursday 18th September. Please note: deliveries are available within the Exeter area only.
Orders must be placed by Friday 5th September, so act fast to make sure you don’t miss out!
FORCE — which stands for Friends of the Oncology and Radiotherapy Centre, Exeter — has been a cornerstone of cancer support in the region since 1987. Over the years, the charity has grown thanks to the tireless efforts of its team and the generosity of the local community.
In 2004, FORCE opened its Cancer Support and Information Centre, funded by more than £900,000 raised locally. This purpose-built facility provides free services for people affected by cancer, including counselling, complementary therapies, support groups, and practical advice. In 2012, a £350,000 extension allowed FORCE to expand its reach and help even more families in need.
Events like Cream Teas for Cancer play a vital role in funding these services. Every cream tea purchased directly contributes to keeping this essential support free for anyone affected by cancer in the Exeter area.
