Q: When do you know it is time for the cows to go to sleep?
A: When it is pasture bedtime.
125g butter – soft at room temperature
100g Langage Farm curd cheese
100g grated cheese – mature cheddar
200g plain flour
1 tsp salt
1 egg whisked for glazing
Pre-heat oven to 180ºC. Kneed together butter, curd cheese, grated cheese and salt. Add flour and keep adding until nice dough consistency. Roll out dough to your required thickness. Brushed egg over dough, sprinkle with rock salt and grated cheese of your choice.
Bake in oven for approx. 15mins until golden brown. Enjoy warm with a dip or on it’s own.
